About the Committee

The Communications & Events Committee is dedicated to student outreach and external communication. This committee prioritizes garnering feedback from students and ensuring they are aware of SGA’s initiatives, accomplishments, and resources relevant to the entire student body. The committee organizes and invites the community to its events put on throughout the year. The committee seeks to achieve public outreach and event marketing through public relations, press relations, and social media.
