The Boston Intercollegiate Government (BIG) is a student governance organization for colleges and universities in the Greater Boston Area (GBA). Recognized in 2003 by the Boston City Council as an effective means of advocacy for GBA students, BIG now represents over 130,000 undergraduates and continues to expand its footprint through civic engagement events and advocacy initiatives on local, state, and federal levels.
