About the Division
The Campus Affairs division serves as an advocacy body for undergraduate students on issues related to campus safety, development, sustainability, dining, and other services essential to student life. The various committees and boards that fall within the division work directly with Northeastern administration to ensure student voices are heard and represented in decisions made on campus.

Our Committees
campus services
The Campus Services Committee is the bridge between the Northeastern student body and our campus facilities, administrative offices, and the various student resources at Northeastern. Our job is to advocate on behalf of the student body on issues related to campus development, safety, recreation, and other aspects of life on campus.

sustainability
The Sustainability Committee serves the Northeastern University community through their work to create, support, and implement sustainable practices and initiatives on campus and in the global Northeastern community. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, members will work with other SGA divisions, student organizations, and administrative departments to best address the needs of students.

Our Boards
campus planning advisory board
The Campus Planning Advisory Board (CPAB) is a 9-member board that serves as the official representative of student interests as they relate to Northeastern campus planning and development. We act as the liaison between the Northeastern Student Body and its campus space concerns and interests and Northeastern’s Planning, Real Estate, and Facilities (PREF) that makes campus planning and development decisions. We assist PREF with student outreach initiatives (such as tabling and focus groups), present and discuss student viewpoints and positions with PREF, and help educate students on campus planning and development.

green initiatives board
The Green Initiatives Board represents the sustainability interests of the Northeastern University community through their management of the Green Initiatives Fund. The Board’s mission is to ensure the responsible, sustainable, and efficient allocation of the Green Initiatives Fund.

dining advisory board
The Dining Negotiation Board works towards meal plan reform and promoting food justice across the Northeastern community. It is a diverse group of students and faculty who advocate for the student body toward an effective, accountable, and sustainable meal plan. This coming semester the board will engage with Northeastern administration to craft a new meal plan prioritizing affordability and diverse meal options with the goal of supporting the most food-insecure students and enhancing the dining experience.
